Bumper Cars

I am a huge fan of bumper cars! I love crazy driving and crashing into as many ppl as you can! In fact.... since i don't have my license, its really the only time i get to drive. So I LOVE IT.

I don't, however, enjoy playing bumper cars IN ACTUAL CARS. Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened to my mother and i near the KOP last night. About 6 months ago the yield sign near the steakhouse was turned into a stop sign, which is all fine and dandy - if people actually stop! Most of the cars in front of us didn't though, but my mother came to a slight stop and was about to pull out when BANG CLANK
The guy behind - he didn't stop - that is, until his car hit ours. Thankfully, my mother and i, and her car are alright. Mom and I got slight whiplash [resulting in me not taking a US test due to headaches today....] and the car was scratched/a small dent. Of course, our car is a Ford Taurus that is a couple years old, the other guy - his car was a new Lexis. It got most of the damage isn't karma funny?
Of course this sparked my dad into a whole mess of : SHARON, YOU TO DRIVE AROUND WHEN EVERYONE IS LIKE THAT. I'M NOT HAVING ONE MORE TEEN DRIVER OUT ON THE ROAD.. [though the guy that hit us was in his 40's.....]

Anyway, I was a bit shocked -I've never been in a car crash before. Not that this was a huge crash. Everyone walked away from it - which is good! But still, its an eye opener.

The funny part : My mother had just pointed out that the ppl before us had ran the stop sign. And she was about to say something about seeing if the idiot behind us would bother to stop -

Well... I guess we know the answer to that!
